As members of the Greenheart community, we\u2019ve seen firsthand how cultural exchange enables personal and professional growth, not only for exchange participants themselves but also for their hosts and colleagues. We know that the cross-cultural skills, lasting friendships, and professional collaborations that develop through cultural exchange empower us as individuals and build a strong foundation for peace. Greenheart is committed to\u00a0communicating the\u00a0diverse benefits of cultural exchange\u00a0to everyday Americans and to our representatives on Capitol Hill.\u00a0<\/strong>We want more Americans to understand how exchange programs that bring international students, interns, trainees, and teachers to the United States foster mutual understanding, support American national security and contribute significantly to the success of American students and professionals.<\/p>\n

Greenheart’s Commitment to Advocacy in 2025<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Greenheart continues to work with our membership association, the Alliance for International Exchange, to ask our congressional representation and leadership to show bipartisan support of BridgeUSA programs. You can read more about the great work done in 2024 here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now four months into 2025, we are excited to work with the new Secretary of State, Marco Rubio<\/a> and the presidential administration. The new Congress has new junior members that we are eager to educate and work with.\u00a0 Additionally, we are working with the Alliance on their goals to validate and communicate their impact and strengthen our position in the political landscape. Part of this commitment is sharing results of a new impact survey for BridgeUSA programs, as well as being on top of potential write in an call campaigns. And as always, we continue to encourage all American stakeholders to join Americans for Cultural Exchange<\/a>. Greenheart is fortunate to have Daniel Ebert serve as a board member on the Alliance, so we are in a unique position of insight and impact on the industry. Going forward into 2025, Greenheart will continue to update our stakeholders through regular updates<\/a>.<\/p>\n
